Professional Experience
After graduating with a Bachelor of Laws degree in 2008 from the University of New Brunswick, Marc returned home to Nova Scotia to article with Stewart McKelvey in Halifax. Following his call to the Bar in 2009 he decided to relocate to the Annapolis Valley where he and his family now call home.
Marc practised law in Kentville for nearly four years before joining Taylor MacLellan Cochrane, gathering experience in several areas of law which provide valuable insight and experience in assisting and advising clients in Marc's current practice areas of corporate/commercial law, real property law, wills and estates and Municipal law.
Marc has also advocated for clients at all levels of court in Nova Scotia, including the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal.
Professional Activities & Affiliations
Marc is a member of the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society, the Kings County Barristers' Society, the Canadian Bar Association, the Real Estate Lawyers' Association of Nova Scotia and Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce. Marc also on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer for the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation.
Marc is an advocate for Elderlaw and Estate planning including presenting for the Senior Safety Program, the Rural Farm Women's Association, the Palliative Care Units in the Annapolis Valley and other community groups.
Marc was a soccer coachin Porters Lake (HRM) and Coldbrook and now coaches in New Minas.
Activities within the Firm
Marc is the Team Leader for the firm's Property and Real Estate Team, Wills Team, and Probate Team and is a member of the firm's Corporate Department.
