TMC LAW has been involved in providing legal advice to school boards since the early 1990's and in particular, to the Kings County District School Board and subsequently to the larger amalgamation of County Boards to the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board since 1995.

LeRoy M. Lenethen, Q.C. serves as the Senior TMC LAW Solicitor for the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board and the former Kings County District School Board. LeRoy M. Lenethen, Q.C. has provided the lead for general litigation, employment and labour law issues. Other lawyers in the firm provide support services in various areas of practice on an "as-needed" basis.

The Annapolis Valley Regional School Board is a large corporate entity requiring a broad range of legal services. TMC LAW has been able to consistently meet this demand for legal services in all areas and works closely with the Board's senior administration and the Board to develop problem-solving approaches to the provision of legal services. Representation of this client, with its broad range of demands, has allowed TMC LAW to work and apply the law required by the unique demands of a public education school board.
