Professional Experience

Having completed the Canadian Bar Association's Tax for Tax Lawyers course, and the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In Depth Tax Program, Chris is heavily involved in planning and implementing business and estate plans which take advantage of his tax experience. Chris has also been involved in business financing work including significant credit facilities, and numerous purchases and sales of businesses.

Professional Activities & Affiliations

Through his work with Acadia University Chris has become a member of the Canadian Association of University Solicitors. He is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Nova Scotia Barristers' Society, the Kings County Barristers' Society, and the Eastern Kings Chamber of Commerce. In the past few years Chris has developed further affiliations in the tax, estate, and trust fields as a member of the Canadian Tax Foundation and the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Activities within the Firm

Chris is a member of the Corporate Department and various task forces within the firm.

Personal Interests

Chris' favourite time is spent with his children Dylan and Lauren "exploring" the world. He also enjoys various fitness activities including weight training, hockey, golf, and skiing.
