Professional Experience

During his first year of law school Charles was a member of Pro Bono Students Canada. As a member he was enrolled in the Dalhousie Legal Aid Service clinic. While with the clinic he was the student co-ordinator of the Tenants Rights program, during his time he appeared at Residential Tenancy hearings and conducted various residential tenancy public information sessions. Upon graduating law school he earned a certificate for successfully completing the Marine and Environmental Law Program.

Charles is a member of the Atlantic Provinces Trial Lawyers Association, Nova Scotia Barristers Society, Canadian Bar Association and the Kings County Barristers Society.

Personal Interests

Charles has been studying the martial art of taekwondo since he was 13 and has a 3rd degree blackbelt under the World Taekwondo Federation. He enjoys teaching taekwondo to all ages and volunteering as a coach and judge at local competitions. He also likes playing hockey, golf and soccer. Charles also enjoys hiking, camping and canoeing.
