Brandon Smith Playground Project

Members of the TMC LAW team worked together to host a bake sale on Wednesday, February 6th with the proceeds of the sale to go to the Brandon Smith Playground Project. Several of the staff members provided yummy baked treats that were enjoyed by all. Together the firm raised $112.00 to contribute to the fund.

Brandon Smith died tragically in a motor vehicle accident on Highway 101 just before Christmas. His brother Jared, who was seriously injured in the accident, remains in the hospital and is continuing to recover. Our thoughts continue to be with the Smith family during this difficult time.

Valley Regional Hospital Foundation
Maternal and Child Care Unit Donation From TMC LAW

TMC LAW used their casual day staff contributions to purchase two television/DVD sets for parents and children who must stay in the Maternal and Child Care Unit.

The units will be used for many purposes including education and training.

Annapolis Valley Regional School Board Foundation

On September 12, 2007 the firm made a contribution to the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board Foundation from its Friday casual dress day fund. The donation is for the Annapolis Valley Regional School Board Breakfast Program which provides funding to participating schools.

Valley Regional Hospital Foundation

On September 12, 2007 the firm made a contribution to the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation from its Friday casual dress day fund. The donation is for the Maternal and Child Care Department to purchase a television and DVD for the family room in this department. This will allow the hospital to provide access to a television and movies for children who are not able to afford a rental for their room.
