The TMC LAW Environmental Law Team assists the Firm's clients by providing a full range of services to meet their environmental law needs. Environmental issues are a significant concern for most corporations and governments. Immediate, comprehensive and practical advice is required by executives and managers to assist in responding to, and planning for environmental challenges that confront them.
Services provided include: advice on business and real estate transactions to vendors, purchasers, and lenders; advice in the field of municipal planning by providing counsel to municipalities, developers and landowners in the areas of developments and zoning, as well as enforcing and defending prosecutions under municipal by-laws; advice on regulatory issues; and a full range of litigation services in matters including spills of hazardous materials, contaminated lands, product liability issues, underground and above ground storage tanks, environmental offenses and noise, odour and other nuisances.
